My nephew will be traveling from Michigan to Australia with the People to People organization this summer. What is the best way to deal with money? I was wondering if there is a money/debit/credit card that could be used internationally, and his parents could monitor online and add funds to if the balance got low, or turn off if it gets stolen.

My husband has a spending problem. He will buy things that we don’t need—new tv just because, or a new computer or a new phone—just because he wants too. Most of the time he will just put it on the credit card and therefore we now have a huge amount of credit card debt. I have asked him to cancel all of the cards but one and leave that one as a low limit card that can be used in emergencies but he hasn’t done it yet–he says he is going to but still hasn’t done it. The debt we have in credit cards is eating away at our savings and we have gone round and round about his spending but nothing seems to be getting through to him. I can’t make him understand that we have other bills to pay and that we need to try harder to get out of the credit card debt if we ever want to buy a house. We want to start a family soon but I am reluctant to do so since we are so far in debt. How do I get my husband to understand that money doesn’t grow on tress? Please help!!

Just counting plain money is hard for her. She has a hard time after for example counting $20 bills past 100.

Contract on house purchase was not able to be funded and deal fell thru. $1000 earnest money was given to real estate agent. Agent kept earnest money and gave it to the builder. There was nothing in writing about paying any of builders costs or changes that he had made. Changes were very minimal,nothing that would keep the house from being sold to someone else. I have bought several houses and have never run into a situation like this. I have written and sent certified letter to real estate agent, but so far it has done no good. Any one every run into anything like this?

I now can wriet a book on about 30 or more subjects and explain things like you wouldn’t believe about things must would or could or fail to understand. Also very interesting books due to my unique prespective on life. From the Street to home owners ship is a big move up.
