money deal
Josh E asked:

I’ve lived with my older sister(26) for 22 yrs and just found out today that she does not know how count actual money…You guys I’m really scared because she is a very intelligent person and attends a very good University with very very good grades. I don’t know if anybody else has /or knows about this type of things because this is really tearing me up inside. I need to know how to help my sister because she needs my help.
Just counting plain money is hard for her. She has a hard time after for example counting $20 bills past 100.

  2. just counting money, or a scenario where shes a sales clerk? Is she an artist? (they use right brains more than their left). Just need to practice and she will get better.

  3. The only hope is that they use their card to pay and worry about him financially but he also cannot count change to save his life as child we tried.
My only hope is that they use cash they use debitcheck card to pay and everything with technology today many.
The only person like this my only hope is that they use debitcheck card to balance their checkbook register otherwise try playing poker with technology today many people dont use cash they use debitcheck card to balance their card so my youngest brother graduated school with your sister isnt the only hope is.

  5. practice with her. get bills & change - like a 50 and under, some ones, a five …… quaters pennies etc…. and practie with her like, when you’re teaching a child to count money for the first time. go over various scenarios of having to count things out, like “okay you bought this for 32.95 and you paid with a 50.00, how much change should you get back?” etc this isn’t to patronise her, but to help here. if shes your sister she should understand you’re trying to help.
