Stephenie Meyer got $750,000 initially for her 3 book deal. That’s a ton of money…is it usually that way? How much do other YA authors get for signing these contracts with publishers?
why did stephenie meyer get so much money (when she first signed the contract and no one knew twilight)??

   An unsung author youll probably get only 50000 per books.

   a first book deal is usually under 5000 pounds (8000 dollars)

   god alone knows why meyer got so much money. personally i think she should spend it on creative writing classes
