of course you could try not caring. but then just remember if they always talking about their money then maybe they lack something in their life and they just want to convince themselves that everything is great because they have all this money. deep down when people repeat things over and over again they are just trying to convince themselves rather than convince others.
Just say to them,
“Well im glad your life is so easilly fullfilled with cash, but i personally try to focus around love/family/freinds/etc”

Sometimes fake caring shows that you don’t care in the best way. You know, like “wow, you ARE rich!” “That is FASCINATING!” — just do some bad acting.
Another way to get them to stop bragging is to ask them how much they’ve given to the food bank or the cancer society. If they don’t want to answer that, then they won’t bring up the subject of how rich they are.
For the money they would probably be nobody.
